Chalet Bellavista - a balcony on Swiss Alps

This small, private Swiss chalet is cozy comfortable retreat for one or two persons. The balcony offers a magnificent view of the Rhone Valley and Swiss Alps of Valais. Ideal for nature-lovers or those who simply want to just get away to relax and breathe in the Swiss mountain air. The chalet acts a point of depart for mountain walks or hikes, bike riding, snowshoeing or even cross country skiing in the winter time. Ski slopes and thermal baths can be reached in around 30 minutes by car.

This small semi-detached chalet surrounded by greenery and in absolute calm, ideal for families and people wishing to recharge their batteries. Situated at 1600 meters above sea level, it is a perfect base for hiking or mountain biking. During winter, the departure and return by ski can be done directly from the chalet (Villars-Gryon-Diableret estate). A 15-minute walk from Frience where a natural pool has been set up for swimming in summer and a toboggan/ski trail with carpet in winter.

Rainbow Apartment

The apartment is part of the annex built in 1950 at the paternal cottage. This cottage was built in 1850 by my great-grandfather, my grandparents lived there and my dad and his sister were born there. The apartment has been slightly renovated, it is furnished simply and functionally. In front of the chalet, there is a grassy plot, which was long the vegetable garden and the only source of income for my grandmother who became a widow prematurely.

We are 10 minutes from the ski slopes, 15 min from Villars Sur Ollon, close to the Bex Salt Mines and the Lavey thermal baths. 20 minutes from Lake Geneva, 45 minutes by car from Lausanne.

It includes a bedroom with a double bed and an extra bed, a bathroom with a large shower, a small and well-equipped kitchen and a living room with TV. On the ground floor a furnished terrace with breathtaking views of the Alps, located due south, on the edge of the forest, very quiet.

Ideally located, the apartment is very close to shops and restaurants. The village center is a 5-minute walk away and a free bus is available to take you, in 3 minutes, to the cable car. A rack railway connects Leysin to Aigle.
