"Casa Medronheiro" is part of our trio of local accommodation houses. It is twinned with "Casa Videira" and "Casa Figueira." (see photo in the gallery) In the village of Aljezur, you will find Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Restaurants and varied commerce. To do this, however, you will always have to travel by car (road in poor condition!).

Excellent starting point to visit the beaches nearby (Amoreira, Monte Clerigo, Arrifana). Typical Portuguese house in Aljezur oldtown. In old time it used to be a donkey shelter ! Walls are made of Taipa (clay) which keep freshness in summer time. The house is newly totally renovated (2021).

The holiday home Casa Poente consists of an open living room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms one bathroom and a conservatory. The houses surrounded by gardens and you can either use the covered south-facing terrace or the conservatory as outside spaces. You have neighbours, however the outside spaces are large enough to have decent privacy. In the colder months, a wood-burning stove and electric radiators provide cosy warmth.
