“For the second time we had a great time in this wonderful house. Like last time, we immediately felt at home. The house looks cozy, offers every comfort and is very clean. The view from Mutten / Obermutten into the distance, the valley and the mountains is simply breathtaking. Hikers get their money's worth, but it is also worthwhile to just let everything rest and enjoy the panorama. As hostess, we again experienced Silvia as warm, reliable and helpful. We heartily recommend this accommodation!”
“Monika and Sepp are super hospitable and I had a really great night with great breakfast. Since the restaurant in the village was still closed, Monika enabled me to cook a traditional Graubündner specialty in the evening. Better than any restaurant :) I felt very comfortable with them and enjoyed the incredibly beautiful view from the balcony! In addition to the 2 bedrooms, the apartment also offers a very cozy living / dining room. If it makes sense, I'll be happy to come back again! :)”
“Breathtaking! Stunning! Historically wonderful! My father and I enjoyed three perfect nights at Andrea's place. The view - WOW, the view! The view from the bedroom alone is enough to want to visit this place. The village is charming! We traveled via bus and train and there's a bus stop just a short stop from his home (Alvaneu - DORF) ...make sure you know this... it travels about once an hour (sometimes 2x per hour), so you do need to plan for this, BUT this was no issue for us whatsoever. We hiked to the famous Landwesser Bridge from here. Use the app "All Trails", because it will take you through the woods, cow fields and along the railroad track vs. Google maps takes you via the street and bike path... Anyhow, Andreas was kind, warm and charming. He was super helpful with his communication (I was going to get off at the wrong bus stop and walk too far/too long). He was so helpful and the breakfast every day was top notch delicious!! This home is like a mountain village resort. Don't procrastinate. Book your stay now. ps - there is a Catholic church in the village and if there's anyone reading this who wants to attend mass while here, since the villages are so small all around Switzerland, know that not every church has mass ever week. We've learned that each village church might offer mass 1x per month, so you'll need to do a little research before assuming you can just walk right in on a Sunday. :) For us, it was not issue - we just took the bus 10 min down to the next village (Surava) for a beautiful service in a 400 year old church. :)”
