🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes, which is located in Farsund municipality. Skipperhuset was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, among other things by wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper's house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is wall to wall with the brewery that has a renovated oven.

The cabin is rented out to guests who respect that they live in our private cabin and are NOT rented out for parties and private events.

Welcome to Fjordbris! Here you can get an overnight stay in the scenic area of Dirdal with an unforgettable view. With only a few meters to the fjord, an almost has the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. There are full tableware, cutlery, glasses, pots and frying pan. Cozy fire pit area with blue pan and possibility to cook on a fire pit.🔥 Outhouse with bio toilet and single sink with foot pump. There is no electricity.
