Near black sand beaches and historic villages at "Isla Baja", the secret of Tenerife. Two companies placed near the cottage offer you awesome outdoor activities (elcardon and tenoactivo). Many restaurants close to the house where you can taste local gastronomy. A grocery allows you to buy all you need, and local farmers offer you a nice organic veggies box (each Wed & Sat)

Built in December 2019 we have 2 semi detached houses just before Teide National Park. Home has full cooks open kitchen and living room with all one might need, gas stove, modern appliances, with washing machine in utility room. We were very doubtful about where to establish our residence, if by the Atlantic swells or rather by the coniferous forest on the skirts of Teide. Being fanatics of nature and sports, no matter if it's trekking, cycling, paragliding, golf or windsurfing we decided we would rather stick to the middle road, and in our search we bumped into San Miguel, a charming small town, away from the hustle and off the beaten track, still all amenities a short walk away. We surely found the perfect balance.

I am an ancient finca rústica in a new guise and live at 550 meters above sea level in Icod de los Vinos in the green north of the island. Behind me I see the majestic Teide volcano, in front of me lies the wide Atlantic. You have to experience living here. The wide view of the sea and Icod immediately creates a sublime feeling and inner peace. The north is weather-friendly and exciting and wonderful to watch from here.
