Set in a secluded location, down a track which serves just a couple of houses ensuring a quiet restful place. Our Cottage offers uninterrupted views of the countryside and the sea yet just a short drive to the seaside village of Abersoch, and the beautiful National Trust Beach at Llanbedrog. An area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with all the treasures of the area within striking distance. Fully renovated south facing cottage, which is part of our main home which we divide when guests stay.
What guests are saying:“Charming accommodation with an interesting history. Renovated very sympathetically to a high standard with lots of modern, comfortable features and great views to the sea. Experienced and welcoming hosts who made the stay extra special with a lovely welcome pack and kind offers of help when looking for local transport. Sadly my stay coincided with a major storm so exploring the area wasn’t really possible but the cottage has a modern smart tv, books, games and a log burner which made the time indoors much more pleasurable. The cottage was spotlessly clean with everything little thing thought of to make it a home from home. A perfect choice for a quiet hideaway and a good spot for exploring the local area. Sue and Mark, the hosts make it clear on the property details that the accommodation is part of their family property with a shared hall and that might not suit guests who want to kick back and play loud music etc. ...but if it’s a quiet relaxing bolt hole on the beautiful north wales coast you are looking for, I would highly recommend.”
Comfortable dog friendly retreat in peaceful surroundings, private use of garden with barbeque . Short drive from the beautiful north coast of the Lleyn Peninsula. Coastal path walks (we can offer a drop off/ pick up service). Golf at the famous Nefyn Club. Refreshments at the Ty Coch Inn, Porthdinllaen beach. Excellent food is served locally at The Lion Hotel or enjoy fish and chips in Aberdaron. We provide a microwave, fridge, china, glasses, cutlery, toaster, kettle, tea, coffee and milk.
What guests are saying:“The retreat is a lovely, cosy space to call home for our weekend stay. Jane met us outside when we parked up and gave us a little tour of the “beach hut”. It was lovely and cosy and Jane had put the electric blankets on our beds! There was a basket of goodies, and a vase of fresh flowers - lovely little touches. During the night there was colossal rainfall. Early in the morning john was out with his shovel ensuring everything was kept dry. Unfortunately, the rain had washed a large amount of gravel into the lane which meant I would have been unable to get out to the photography course I had booked. John came to the rescue and gave me a lift in his 4 x4 and picked me up later which was above and beyond. He also gave my parents a lift down and told them a circular walk they could do. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away from it all.”
