A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Our Tropical Flower Farm is a 52-acre property situated at the foothills of Mt Bartle about one hour drive south of the Cairns International Airport. We grow an extensive variety of tropical Heliconia and Ginger for use in the Australian Cut Flower market. Our farm is completely self-sustainable. We have a waterfall that generates our power through Hydroelectricity and gravity-fed water from a natural spring.
