Our family-friendly vacation home on our small farm is located in a very sunny and quiet location near the village, in the hiking area Krispl/Gaißau (Tennengau). The Celtic city of Hallein can be reached by car in about 20 minutes, the Mozart city of Salzburg can be reached in about 30 minutes, and the nearest ski resort can be reached in 40 minutes. Various summer and winter hiking trails/bathing lakes invite you to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. In 2026, my guests will also receive the Tennengau Card and mobility ticket by email.

The vacation home "Strickerl" is located in one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the world, in the Salzkammergut. We are located at an altitude of approx. 880 meters, which makes our guests immediately feel the alpine feeling. With us you have the opportunity to enjoy relaxation & the Austrian idyll. The lovingly furnished 75 m² apartment in the district Maxglan West (Salzburg city) is located on the 2nd floor of a multiple dwelling. My wife, me and our 2 children live on the floor below. The bright apartment with attics has just been partly renovated and newly furnished. It is also well equipped for the needs of families. We offer a small play corner, a crib if required and a high chair. All windows in the flat have child safety locks. NEW: A washer-dryer is available free of charge.

fantastic family vacation at the organic mountain farm

Fantastic mountain idyll, wonderful view of Hoher Göll, Watzmann, Kalter Untersberg,..., all day sun, a very special place. It is not for nothing that the opening sequence of "Sound of Music" was shot here... bathroom, kitchen high quality and new, amenities cozy and traditional. Suitable for families with children or a family with grandparents. Note: 2 beds are cribs (185 x 855), one bedroom is a passageway. Chickens, sheep, cats, bullerbü on the mountains!

The local recreation area "Leopoldskroner Weiher" is within walking distance.

Apartment in a 19th century house, for 1- 4 in the old center beneath the castle/ monastry (sound of music), very calm, clean and cosy, ten minutes walk to the Mozartplatz, 15 minutes by bus from the trainstation. For our guests with toddlers/small children we are very happy to offer a Thule Sport 2 carriage for lend (10 euros/day). This way you can explore Salzburg by foot also with small children!
