Welcome to Boshuis De Eekhoorn, our charming forest house in the small-scale holiday park Landgoed Baars in the woods of Baars. Wake up to birdsong and, with a bit of luck, spot squirrels. In the forest house, there is space for four adults and two children, with luxurious box spring beds and made-up beds. Up to two dogs are welcome in the (fully) fenced private forest garden of 800 m². From the garden, you can walk or cycle directly into nature, with Giethoorn, Steenwijk and the Weerribben-Wieden nearby.

The rural Wapserveen is located between three national parks, the Weerribben near Giethoorn, Dwingelderveld and the Drents Friese Wold. A perfect base for getting out into nature. The comfortable apartment is an outbuilding on the grounds of our farmhouse and has a terrace overlooking the orchard. Through the private entrance, you enter the hall with a separate toilet, bathroom & infrared sauna. In the living/bedroom, there is a kitchenette, dining table, sitting area with TV and a nice double bed.

Tiny house Boswitje

Cute little house in the woods, with garden and shed. Located on a camp site, in an area rich with nature and culture. Three national parks within a 10-30 min drive and lots of options to go on a walk or a run right outside the camp ground. Right next door are Museum de Proefkolonie (UNESCO), Zeemuseum Miramar and the Museum of False Art. Hunebedden are within driving/biking distance. The booking is excl. a park fee of € 3,50 p.p.p.n., to be paid at the reception of the camp site upon arrival.

Chalet with veranda on the edge of the forest

There is a lot of peace and space in this unique place. Guests describe it as a mini paradise! This four-person chalet is on the edge of the forest with almost continuous flute concerts. Those who love the outdoors are absolutely in the right place here! The chalet is cozy and has a large veranda with wood stove. There is a lot of privacy, and there are several places in the garden where you can sit or lie down. Only for recreation! From September 1, you can do some work in the park again.

You will be staying in a tastefully renovated front house equipped with modern conveniences and authentic details. Have you always wanted to sleep in a bedstead? You can! You also have access to a large sitting kitchen with oven, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher. In the spacious living room, in addition to the bedstead, you also have a nice sofa bed with smart TV. The spacious bathroom has a lovely bath and separate shower. The separate bedroom has a nice box spring to relax.

The accommodation offers 90m2 of space for 6 guests (plus 2 small children), with spacious living room and kitchen, three bedrooms, bathroom with toilet, shower and whirlpool bath, separate toilet on 1st floor and spacious (bicycle) storage. The paradise garden of more than 1900 square meters, including trampoline, offers 100% privacy.

There are also options for renting a Valk sailing boat, an electric sloop or bicycles. Breakfast can also be booked.
