The home enjoys a commanding position on the Lake. Private access to the water is via stairs to a kayak shed and deck at the waters edge (no access to neighbours jetties). Or relax on the rear deck of the house with stunning water views. A perfect getaway for family and friends within reach of cafes, restaurants, beaches and the Hunter Valley Vineyards. Enjoy fishing, kayaking or just unwind. NB: we only accept guests with 5 star reviews (esp House Rules). No 3rd party bookings or work crews.

Minnalong Cottage This lovely one-bedroom, self contained cottage is set on a working horse property. It is conveniently situated for a self-guided tour of the Hunter Valley vineyards including Pokolbin, Wollombi and Broke, or a comfortable stopover on your way north or south. It is located at the base of the Watagan Mountains, with easy access for bush walking, picnics or 4WDing. The Vineyards are 30 minutes drive away, Newcastle and beaches are 45 minutes drive and Port Stephens 1 hour.

Do you need a place to relax and unwind? In a quiet location with a garden outlook? Palm Cottage is located close to the lake and is a great base to explore vineyards, mountains, beaches, the city of Newcastle and so much more. Spacious open plan accommodation, 1 bedroom with queen sized bed, modern bathroom, kitchenette, 2 living areas, dining area and indoor/outdoor sitting areas and WiFi. Laundry is available on request. "The Studio" is situated in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region with wineries and concert venues just minutes away. Perfect for a romantic getaway or to simply escape the hustle and bustle. There are many beautiful walks and sights to see right on your door step including wonderful wild life. The Studio" is one of two cottages on the property. Quiet location, near Lake Macquarie. 10 minutes off the M1, 5 minutes walk to a major station. A perfect position for exploring Hunter Valley and Newcastle. 1 bedroom small self-contained unit attached to our house but with separate outside entrance (5 stairs up, see photos). Shared driveway. Price for 3 people ($10 extra per night for additional guests over 16 years old). Pets accepted on request but no fenced yard. Non smoking accommodation.
