Gretebu is a cute little cottage, with an area that will give you memories for a lifetime! This is a unique, small place❤️☺️ There is, unfortunately, NO shower in the cabin. There is water in the kitchen (including hot water) and in the toilet, but unfortunately there is no possibility to take a shower in the cabin. We apologize for this! This is also a cabin that is not always checked between guests, so you must bring your own bed linen, and as a guest, you must tidy up/clean up after yourself. I hope a stay at my family cabin can give you some beautiful memories for life! ❤️

Cozy cabin near Vøringsfossen and hiking trails

Our small, cozy family cabin is located in the middle of the butter at the foot of Hardangervidda. 5 min walk to the convenience store there is also a fast charge for electric car. The cabin has electricity and water. The cabin is located on the sunny side of the valley and you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace with a lovely view. Remember to bring hiking shoes because here you will find endless opportunities for amazing mountain hikes. In the winter you can go skiing and slide right down the ski slopes of Sysendalen. The cabin is best suited for up to 5 people.

Great and well-equipped family cabin in cabin area. The cabin was new in 2020 and is characterized by a modern standard with a cozy cabin touch. Here you can tie your shoes and go for magical walks, fish in the river, pick berries, go for a walk at the playground, go skiing or take a hike in the ski lift. Vøringsfossen is only a few minutes drive from the cabin. The cabin with, among other things, its location is very suitable for children/toddlers. There is also a large trampoline (in the summer). NOK 100 per person for rent of bed linen and towels.

Welcome to our beautiful cabin! The cabin was built in the summer of 2022 and is located in a fantastic mountain area a little above Vøringsfoss, at the foot of Hardangervidda National Park. The cabin has two parking spaces in a private parking lot belonging to Åstestølen cabin area. There is a municipal road all the way to the parking lot and a short walk to the cabin, on a gravel path. Bring the whole family to this great place with many hiking opportunities. Large and well-equipped cabin. Garage. Prepared ski slopes just below. In summer there is a bicycle path/trail there. Short drive to alpine on Maurset. It is 3 km to the charging station and grocery store. In summer, there is also an open grocery store within walking distance from the cabin. Short driving distance to Vøringsfossen. It is 20 min to Eidfjord. There are 2 cots for 0-2 years. 1 junior bed. 1 high chair, 2 junior chairs Toys and puzzles for children.

The cabin "Hardingen" is located on a fantastic plot a stone's throw from the majestic Vøringsfossen. The cabin is connected to "Vøringen". But they are separate and each have their own entrance. "Hardingen" has two bedrooms with 5 beds in total. Spacious living and dining room with adjoining kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need for cooking. There is Wi-Fi, free parking (150 m from the cabin), wood-burning fireplace, heated floors and electric ovens for comfort. Here you live completely in nature!

The cabin is nicely located on the sunny side of the valley, 800 meters above sea level on Garen in Sysendalen, the gateway to Hardangervidda. Fishing river right by. Bjoreio. The cabin has two floors. Cleaning supplies are included. Outdoor furniture and fire pit are available. Sysendalen has a rich network of trails and varied nature experiences. Here you can enjoy nature and wildlife, fishing and picking berries. Among other things, there are a lot of mullets in the area. There are two shops nearby with charging facilities.
