You can just step out of the apartment and walk along the canal towards a lake and a large park. It's a quiet area but only a 25 minute walk from the central train station. Its easy to explore different parts of the city from there by public transport (S+U Bahn Wedding) but also good for relaxing after a day outside with a hot bath and enjoying a sweet atmosphere between art and plants :) It offers a double bed and a kitchen for cooking.
