A charming Pipo wagon in the middle of nature overlooking the adjacent Wipwatermolen. Close to the interesting old towns of Utrecht, Leerdam and Gorichem within a radius of 30 km. This place is in the middle of the beautiful hiking area "Zouweboezem", a protected nature reserve with many special birds and plants. Lots of privacy, a large garden in front of the door and a private gazebo next to the pipowagen in which 2 garden chairs and a wood stove are. Fireplace is for sale from us.

Along meadows with knot willow you drive into a cozy village. At the church, take a dead end road. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guesthouse "De Hooischuur". Even when entering the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that's exactly the feeling we want to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The barn is decorated with care with care with a nod to the farm history that is so typical of this region. The barn with every comfort and you will enjoy the distant polder face from the breakfast table. In good weather, just step into your private garden. On the ground floor you have a kitchen with dining table, living room and toilet, shower with a double sink at your disposal. Upstairs there are two bedrooms (without heating) with both a double bed.

The daily price includes camping/tourist tax, towels and linens. The cottage is spacious and clean, comfortable, cozy & very suitable to get to yourself, each other, and/or a (creative) project. The basics (toilet paper, coffee, tea, etc. are provided. The tranquility & beauty of the area invite you to be outside. In the large flower garden, or on the lake, or hiking / biking / day trips to historic towns. Dogs are welcome, cats unfortunately not.

Studio Tjilp is a lovely and comfortable guesthouse with it's own entrance in the very centre of the Netherlands. You'll find both nature and culture nearby. The shops and restaurants of the small, cute city Leerdam are within walking distance. But there is also a beautifull landscape around. The house offers Wifi and a nice terrace in the green garden. It's also ideal if you want to work or retire for a while peacefully.
