“We had a great time staying at Pascale's. We particularly liked the outdoor kitchen. It has. Fun to cook and eat outside. We could jump into the pool for refreshment. Tamarindo with its beautiful beaches is not far away and can be reached in a few minutes by car. We can fully recommend Pascale's accommodation and wish her all the best”
1 of 6 private cabinas situated on the tranquil grounds of Peace Retreat. Fully escape into nature’s sights and sounds, while still being close to a community of like-minded people. Each cabina was lovingly constructed with reforested teak wood, contains furnishings of the same, and was mindfully placed to maximize airflow and privacy. Cabinas have screen-windows, a ceiling fan, 2 single beds, and also include an open-air closet with storage space and a safe for your valuables.
“Kevin's yoga retreat was very accurate in the description. Nice and peaceful. The only sounds were from the wild life. Monkeys, birds and geckos. There was a family with small children but apparently that is not the norm. It's more of a place for peaceful communing with nature. Wonderful breakfasts if you want to purchase. Otherwise a kitchen with most amenities one could need. We stayed in the cabinas which did have some ants but, after all, we are in nature. Cabinas are open to the wind and nature sounds so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper like myself. The yoga classes are AMAZING! Best ever! The staff and volunteers were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Everything is cleaned and changed daily. Everything works! Nice pool to cool off in. Because it is off the beaten track, not a huge variety of shops or groceries and costly for shuttles and cabs. If you want to see more places maybe rent a car. The beach is nice and a bit of a walk. We came in March the height of the dry season, so very hot. All in all wonderful place and I would come back ( with a car) . Kevin and Serena are very friendly and attentive hosts! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!”
