An architecturally sleek, light-filled apartment surrounded by meadows, forest, and mountains—modern, stylish, and consciously minimalist. Here, you will stay in the middle of nature, with maximum privacy and a mountain panorama. In the garden, there is a wooden sauna with sweeping views over the deer enclosure and the surrounding mountains. The apartment is located on a small organic farm that I run according to permaculture principles. There are deer in the meadows, as well as chickens, bees, cats, and a fish pond.

Our house is in the heart of Hallstatt. The famous lake-street is in 1 minute walking distance, yet it is a very silent place to live in. The kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony is a real treat for summer nights viewing the silent lake. There is one master bedroom and and additional bedroom with 2 single beds (bunk bed). There is no need for a vehicle in town since everything is in walking or hiking distance (marketplace, shopping, ossuary of the chatholic church). A TV is available.

The former barn is originally converted into a holiday home of a special kind, 144 m² on two levels. Surrounded by 2 hectares of meadow, 1 hectare of forest, a place for retreat, for family vacations, for "Simply being in Hollenstein". Swimming, tennis, cycling (Ybbstag bike path right outside the door), hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing right by the house when the snow allows! 3 km from the center of Hollenstein, very good infrastructure.

From the balcony, you can look out over the nature reserve and have direct access to the large toboggan run. On the top floor you will find cozy sleeping areas. Come and relax – in this cozy and quiet cottage on the mountain. My vacation home in Ebensee can accommodate 6 people and is quietly situated on the mountain. It has been redesigned and has a wonderful rustic charm without being overloaded. Note: The house has no direct access. You go up a staircase and walk a 200-meter path to the house. Parking is available on the street. You have to be good at walking!
