Hanatsu means 'let go'. We designed this place so you can relax and let go in the busy-ness of travel through the ideal of "shibui" (subdued and simple). Here we are proud to offer the feeling of Japan in a comfortable private whole house; the beauty of tatami, earthen walls, sliding doors, tile and washi (Japanese paper). The Uno port ferry is 3 min by nearby train (14 by EA bike) so we serve as an ideal gateway to the Inland Sea islands, including of course Naoshima, Teshima and Inujima.

Haus2354: 5 minutes walk to Ieura Port

Haus2354 is within 5 minutes walking distance from Ieura Port, the main gateway of the island. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.

【Teshima’s Ocean View Retreat Tokuto】King Villa

Tokuto is a newly renovated private mansion built in the 1940s on Teshima. It is conveniently located about 15mins walk from Ieura Port. Enjoy the luxurious architecture of the past, such as the authentic hand blown window glass, Onigawara (Japanese gargoyle roof tiles), and the beautiful gardens with an abundance of stone lanterns. The building consists of 2 villas, King Villa & Queen Villa. As a measure against infectious diseases, we accept one group for each building.

“YUI” at Teshima in Seto Inland Sea offers accommodation in a renovated old Japanese folk house, completed with a veranda and a garden, located in Ieura. Exclusively for rent of the entire house. Welcome to Wasyugama, a traditional Bizen pottery kiln guesthouse in the peaceful hills near Kurashiki, Okayama. Stay beside an active pottery workshop and experience the quiet charm of rural Japan.
