The small house (maisonette) with a magnificent view as far as the Vosges Mountains of France is located on the outskirts of the small town of Herbolzheim, directly in the foothills of the Black Forest. From here it is a stone's throw to the vineyards behind. The wine region Alsace, the amusement park "Europapark" and the water park "Rulantica" (10 min. away), the Europa-Park Golfclub Breisgau and the Black Forest (National Park) are great destinations from here.

There are many walks and for the more athletic there is no shortage of mountain bike trails. 30 minutes from Colmar and Mulhouse, 45 minutes from Basel or Fribourg, many varied tourist discoveries (wine route, castles, museums etc...)

You will be spoiled for choice with a multitude of sites to visit and discover in the surrounding area. In the middle of nature, quiet and sunny place for extended evenings outside. You will be like in a cocoon with amenities that will delight everyone: heated 9x5 pool (useable covered), hot tub, Ping-Pong, 200m2 paved courtyard basketball, football field, trampoline, pétanque, Bonzini foosball, panoramic sofa, video projector. Easy to access, you can easily go to the most beautiful sites of the Hautes Vosges, Gérardmer is 15 minutes away.

Centrally located between Freiburg and Colmar, it is an ideal base for excursions by bike or car to the most famous sights of the region. The house is situated in a spacious scattered settlement, the distance to the nearest house is about 50 meters. Apart from the guests, I live as a host in the house, the permanently rented apartment in the attic has a separate entrance from the outside. Guest access is at the bottom floor. Me as a host use the extra entrance in the basement.
