The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. It's only a few minutes down the mountain to the lake. Here you can take the ferry to Meersburg - and the island of Mainau is also not far away. A beautiful long riverside path or the free, direct bus (about 10 min.) leads to the old town.

A bus runs at your doorstep. Parking is free on the quiet residential street.
