There are nice hiking areas in the local area; local peaks such as Hest and Himakånå are popular. It is also possible to take a day trip to Preikestolen and Stavanger. The climbing park "Høyt og Lavt" is located 15 min drive from the cabin. In the summer months (May to Sept) it is possible to rent a boat and kayaks. Animals are not allowed in the cabin. Welcome to a stylish and space-efficient one-room apartment with a cozy sleeping alcove! The studio is brightly decorated and furnished with, among other things, a sofa bed and TV with Apple TV – ideal for both everyday life and relaxation. The separate sleeping alcove has a double bed and gives a good room feeling. The practical kitchenette has what you need to cook simple meals, and the great bathroom has a modern standard with shower. Outside you will find a small and cozy café set, where you can enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the lake

Skjoldastraumen is an idyllic and quiet place with the possibility of several activities and excursions. The place is probably best known for its saltwater locks that opened in 1908. The saltwater locks are the only ones in Norway that are still in use. The sandy beach at Notaflåt is centrally located and provides bathing opportunities on a nice summer day. Straumen school is also nearby. Here the kids can play and play football. If you drive to Nedstrand, you will find the well-known Himakånå. "Straumen er Draumen"

Nedstrand. The cabin is located next to the path to Himakånå, and has great hiking opportunities. The property is fenced, which makes the place safe for children. The living room window has a great lake view. Bedroom 1 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 has 3 beds: 1 bunk bed and 1 cot with a length of 150 cm. Please be aware of grazing animals outside the property. Free parking is about 150m from the cabin, to get up you have to walk a steep climb. A suitcase is not recommended as there is a gravel road.

You have a great view of both the lake and Himakånå. You will find many good hiking opportunities both to the mountains and forests, Himakånå is one of the most attractive hiking destinations. The climbing park "Høyt og Lavt", shop, joint transport, fishing and swimming opportunities are also nearby.

Den er i nærheten av nydelige strender, familievennlige aktiviteter som bading, strandvolleyball, fiske og ikke minst fantastiske turmuligheter i mark og fjell direkte fra hytta. Vi har Standup paddleboards (SUP) som kan lånes gratis. Eget privat uteområde med spiseplass, grill, hengekøye og vedfyrt bålpanne. Hytta har utedusj, kjøkken, toalett og dobbeltseng. Det er i nærheten av offentlig transport og butikk

Idyllic place in Hetland

Relax with family/friends in idyllic surroundings Overlooking a small pond, sheep in the fields and beautiful birdsong, this is a place where you will find peace and quiet. There is plenty of space for play, bonfire and barbecue. There are good sun spots around the entire cabin. 15-30 min by car to all attractions on Haugaland. For grocery shopping, the convenience store in Slåttevik is recommended, which is only 4 minutes away by car.

Cozy and peaceful cabin by the fjord. Here you will enjoy amazing views and excellent outdoor areas. You can relax in the hot tub while watching the sunset. You can hike on the closest mountain peaks. With direct access to the beach your can explore the fjord with kayaks, swim and even fish.
