The residence is located about 30 minutes from Tromsø Airport, in the direction of Sommarøy. Car is recommended! The accommodation is in scenic surroundings, allowing nature experiences such as northern lights, mountain hikes or just a quiet evening around the fire pit on the terrace to be enjoyed. Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Lovely cottage in Svensby, Lyngen. Beautiful location 10 m from the sea, in the middle of the Lyngen Alps. Only 90 minutes drive from Tromsø, including a short ferry trip. Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. It can hardly be described - it has to be experienced. You live on the outside of adventure island Senja. You don't get any closer to nature - with a glass facade of close to 30 sqm you have the feeling of sitting outside while you sit inside. Whether it's midnight sun or northern lights - it will never be boring to see the sea, mountains and wildlife along Bergsfjorden. The cabin was completed in the fall of 2018 and has a high standard.
