The urban area is really nera the house and you can enjoy the lovely food in soem restaurants or just enjoy the natural landscape by wlaking around or just enjoy a nice drink in one of the river-fronts. Public transportations are not the best, but you can visit some of the surrounding towns if you are good in making plans... This is my home. I reconstructed it myself. It's full of love...

Casa Morriña. House on the river in Ribeira Sacra

Morriña is a recently renovated house (2019) on the banks of the Miño River, where the water "breaks" against the porch of the house. It has two exterior bedrooms with their own bathroom each and a large living room with a fireplace and a large gallery overlooking the river on the top floor, and a kitchen with a dining room and toilet, with access to the patio and porch, on the ground floor. Great care has been taken with the lighting and comfort. ATTENTION: If you book a single night, there is an increase of €50.

Mountain House

Casa da Montanha is located on the Albufeira of the Caniçada dam and is also located near the incredible Peneda-Gerês National Park. If you're looking for a place with absolute tranquility, then you've found your ideal home. Located at the top of the beautiful mountain, among forests, waterfalls and unforgettable landscapes. A superb overlook of the Albufeira da Barragem da Caniçada in the fresh waters of the Cávado River. All rooms are air-conditioned, with TV and free Wi-Fi.

This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

It is a restored room in which the wood and stone have been recovered to leave everything as faithful as possible to what it was. As a welcome gift, we leave breakfast in the room on the first day, which consists of two kinds of milk, cookies, butter, jam, cereals, coffee, cocoa, infusions, fruit, bread...

The house of "Sítio de Froufe" is located in Lugar de Froufe, in the parish of S. Miguel between both rivers in the municipality of Ponte da Barca, geographically within the territory of the Peneda Gerês National Park. What is now the "Sítio de Froufe" was for many years used as a shelter for animals and storage for agricultural products.
