CORTIÇO: The apartment overlooking the Douro is named “Cortiço”. It is so called, in homage to honey, a secular food that was also produced on our property, exactly in this place. The family gathered to extract this nectar, laboriously produced by the bees, to serve not only as a delicacy, but also as a home remedy for everyday ailments.

A well-lit bedroom features a spacious bed with neutral-toned bedding and a decorative throw pillow. Two nightstands with lamps are positioned beside the bed. A framed artwork depicting a butterfly adorns the wall above the bed, and a large wardrobe occupies one side of the room.
