Just under the house you can explore amazing water grove and a waterfall, which is known as energy point. In the valley you can enjoy the beauty of emerald green Soča gorge and if you're brave enough, you can jump right in. The house is a great starting point for many hiking trips. The most popular is certainly the hike to a beautiful glacial lake Krn, under the top of mountain Krn.

At the beginning of the ascent to the sanctuary of Castelmonte, five minutes from the historic center of Cividale del Friuli, an old 19th-century farmhouse recently renovated offers an attic apartment and a double bedroom with bathroom. The adjoining farm produces organic extra virgin olive oil and the walk among the olive groves and vineyards up to a centuries-old chestnut tree is a pleasant immersion in nature and its gentle hilly landscape. Cottage NA BIRU 1 by the Soca River

The Cottage Na Biru has one of the prettiest locations in the Soča valley. Undearneath mount Mrzli vrh and very close to our emerald Soca River on the edge of Gabrje village you will find a perfect spot for quiet or active holidays. There's tourist tax you have to pay at the arrival: 2 €/adult/day and 1 € for children between 7 and 18/day. There's one double and two single beds upstairs and a sofa in the living room, which means 5 people maximum. We can add a baby cot.

The house is located at the eastern edge of Stara Fužina village, close to the church of St. Paul, at the foot of a hilly pasture and a walnut orchard. A popular tourist trail towards Mostnica gorge, Voje valley and Uskovnica mountain pasture passes the house, and the house is surrounded by a spacious garden with an old apple tree to provide shade.
