Best Acaraje in town, nice bars all around the plaza with life music on weekends. On weekends nightlife until 3-4 am :-) order your Acaraje with everything including dried shrimps, YUMMY

Not the best acarajé anymore, but definitely a good option. And a pleasant area to chat over a beer.

Best Acaraje in Salvador, be careful, if you ask it hot it would have lots of pepper. For me the best acarajé is simple only with salty shrimp and salad. Also ask for bolinho de estudante.

“Good acarajés and abarás are the great legacies that Dinha left for Bahia. Nowadays her daughter is in charge. The place has earned the name of Largo da Dinha and is a very popular option on Salvador's nights, to eat and have a beer. Acaraje is is a local dish made from peeled beans formed into a ball and then deep-fried in dendê (palm oil).”
