The Ashmolean is the University of Oxford’s museum of art and archaeology, founded in 1683. World famous collections range from Egyptian mummies to contemporary art, telling human stories across cultures and across time.

This rich museum, founded in 1683, is the country’s oldest museum. It includes a magnificent collection of antiques, classical sculpture, and Easter Art, as well as Greek and Roman pottery. It also hosts a beautiful roof-top café and restaurant (would very highly recommend – it is amazing!)
