We never visit Phuket without at least one visit to Bampot. Bampot serves simple and fabulous food in a laid back environment. Their quail’s scotch egg and their black pudding is not to be missed. The restaurant oozes style with mid century modern furniture set against exposed brick walls, subway tiles, edison light bulbs, and an open kitchen. The cocktail menu is not vast, but so far, everything we have tried has been fantastic. It is also one of the few restaurants that has a comprehensive wine list with something for everyone. The only minor down-side is that it isn’t on the beach and doesn’t have a view. But the food, value and atmosphere more than makes up for it.
