This is actually a hotel but you can go and visit. It is a huge, fairy-tale palace North of Coimbra.

Bussaco Palace Hotel is in the middle of the wonderful Mata de Bussaco. It is a little mnuelistic castle, has a very good restaurant and there are nice walks in the woods, lots of special plants!

For someone staying more than a couple of nights this is a charming place to see. An old King palace and royal park, very fresh tour for a hot summer day and also very romantic and picturesque.

Stunning beauty spot - incredible food - the dining area is jaw dropping. The gardens and forest around the palace are a must see.
