Safe, netted swimming area suitable for young children, children's playground, public BBQs, kiosk and restaurant as well as plenty of open space and beautiful mature trees. All within a few minutes walk or a short ride on the free Hop, Skip, Jump shuttle.

A wonderful place for a picnic with the family - there's a playground, harbour pool and beach, kiosk, marina and cafe. The Manly to Spit walk also passes through Clontarf Reserve.

30 minutes away towards the city. On leash only area; and only between 10am and 6pm. It's another beach area that is very popular in the southern end of the beaches.

Great place to take a picnic and all your beach gear. A large playground with safe swimming for the littlies. Paid parking (2 hours free with our car).

If you bring kids they will love the "Beach meets Playground" while you can all enjoy the passing of boats and kayaks and cars crossing the crowded Spit Bridge
