There's no other way to say it: We love local dives, and this is one: Sticky tables, stained carpet, crusty-owner-chef, friendly waitress, suspicious looks from craggy regulars -- and some pretty darn good, classic diner grub. The small place is jam-packed with bachelor farmers by 6a.m., so sleep-in if you want a seat. Open for breakfast and lunch only. We prefer C & S to the Elkton Grub & Gab Diner, and Terri's Cafe; all three spots are favorites of locals.
