Anatoki Salmon Farm –230 McCallum Rd Takaka, (93km) Free fishing rods and nets, you pay by the weight of the Salmon you catch. They prepare it for you fresh or smoked or sashimi style. We caught a 1kg Salmon, smoked it, and ate it fresh at the picnic tables. It was the most excellent Salmon I have ever had.

Explore gorgeous Golden Bay and stop and catch a salmon. A 2 hour drive from Valley Views studio, this is a great day trip or make it a longer stay and check out the other attractions Golden Bay has to offer.

Anatoki Salmon farm provide free fishing rods, enabling you to catch your own fish. All fish caught are paid for, and can be smoked for you while you wait. A choice of smoke flavour are available. Great fun for the kids.

Great scenic drive over Takaka Hill. Catch your own lunch/dinner and take home or have them cook there and eat in or out. Many flavours to choose from. BYO Wine and crackers for the Salmon to make it more affordable. Excellent for families

This is a must if you love salmon. Call in on your way back home, catch a salmon, they will fillet ,and smoke it ready for you to take home.
