This cafe opened in a moment when Oaxaca only had one option to go, and the only option was a chain from another City. They adopted the Oaxacan style and added to it's cafes. Good coffee, tasty cookies, excellent service.

Located on Alcala street, close to Santo Domingo. It has a nice patio and you can visit the library next door “Grañen Porrua”

Cafe Brujula on the pedestrian street (Macedonio Alcalá) close to the zocalo has a beautiful outdoor patio which is usually a quiet and cool place to get some work done all the while enjoying a cup of coffee. They also have great cakes! !! Closed on Sundays !!
