This park is literally a 10 minute drive and once there, you'll feel a milion miles away from the city. Hiking trails, wildflowers, trees and streams! Open year round.

A beautiful piece of tranquility with miles of trails. Also has picnic, bathroom, and playground facilities. A historic spot as well with interesting signage on one of the trails- it used to be a 'retreat' where people from San Francisco would send 'women who needed a rest'.

You can either walk below, following the creek or you can park up the hill a bit. And if you continue to walk upwards you will come to the trail head that allows off-leash adventures!!! You can walk all the way to Wildcat Canyon and beyond.
