This is such a large and magnificent museum that even on crowded days you can find areas that are quiet such as the African art galleries. Go early in the day for the best viewing of popular exhibitions. New York is lucky to have such a fantastic Museum with so many Masterpieces. I do think it would…
At New York City's most visited museum and attraction, you will experience over 5,000 years of art from around the world. The Met is for anyone as a source of inspiration, insight and understanding. You can learn, escape, play, dream, discover, connect.
NYC Staple of a Museum. Beautiful walk through Central Park if you are in the mood. The roof top is also lovely at the Museum. You can enjoy a drink and view the outside installation if there is one at the time of your visit.
My absolute favorite museum in the city. A great way to learn more about different eras and different cultures around the world!
The Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York City, colloquially "the Met",[a] is the largest art museum in the United States. With 6,479,548 visitors to its three locations in 2019, it was the fourth most visited art museum in the world. Its permanent collection contains over two million…
One of the most beautiful museums and has a nice rooftop terrace as well! Bring sneakers / comfortable shoes because it’s huge!
Basically a huge maze- so so many masterpieces, it's a great place to explore. It is impossible to see everything in one visit, so I suggest you grab a map and select a floor or two to wander around.
Free entry with a suggested donation. Great place to explore--especially on a rainy day. Can get touristy. I recommend going early or late.
It has over 2,000.000 items and its right next to Central Park + its a donation base! :)

“A walk, peddle, or carriage ride through the crisscrossing pathways of Central Park is a must-do on anyone's New York City itinerary. In winter, you can even lace up your skates and glide across Wollman Rink. This huge park in the city center, a half-mile wide and 2.5 miles long, is one of the things that makes New York such a beautiful and livable city. Besides being a great place to experience a little nature, Central Park has many attractions within its borders, and most of them are free, making it one of the few cheap things to do in NYC. Some of the most popular places to visit include the Belvedere Castle, Strawberry Fields, the Central Park Zoo, and the Lake. If you are exploring the park on your own, start by picking up a map at one of the visitor centers and plot your routing.”
