Alto Vista Chapel is a small Catholic chapel located on the north shore of Aruba, and is also known as "Pilgrims Church". The restored chapel dates back to 1750. The winding road with crosses marking the stations of the cross reaches the site high above the sea. Alto Vista Chapel is a special place for peace and contemplation and enjoys spectacular views of the North Coast.

This is the first and oldest church in Aruba, one of the iconic sightseeing landmarks. A beautiful little chapel right by the sea. There is a little souvenier shop right out front and a refreshment stand that offers mojitos. Please note that these are the best mojitos in Aruba : ) so if you stop by, be sure to try one!

The uniqueness of this chapel makes it an attraction worth visiting. Build a long time ago, the chapel offers a place to connect with yourself, with nature and do a little prayer. Make a donation to help maintain the place. Make sure to get your fresh coconut water from our friendly boy at the parking lot. You can also get your souvenir from the vendor. If you have more time, take a short hiking in the lush dessert starting in front of the chapel or at the right side. The hiking trail is used by mountainbikers, take a good look out. The longest trail is 4km, the shorter one is about 1 km. The scene is beautiful and takes you to places only some people will discover.
