The picturesque nearby city of Briançon (15 min drive away) is the 2nd highest in Europe. Initially founded by the Romans, it’s 17th century Vauban fortifications are now a UNESCO world heritage site that offers breathtaking views, quaint shops, and charming traditional dining.
