Well, this is a wonderful way to get your Sunday or any day you visit started. It is about an hour's drive from the Cabin and near to several beaches along the way. It is a great place to hike to the top and see the old radio tower. Watch out for the bike riders on the hill and take lots of water. It is a real climb to the top. Or you just hang around the base and take photos of the green lush bamboo.

We recommend walking on this paved path through the overhanging bamboo that rustles in the wind. The name derives from the pattern that the bamboo stalks make overhead, similar to the naves of a church. If you are lucky, you might spy a red howler monkey overhead - 55 minute drive (29.5 km) from Green Space. If you feel energetic, you can walk uphill to a bluff with views of the sea. You can also continue going uphill to the Tracking Station, an abandoned radar dish. An original painting of the bamboo cathedral hangs in the Green Space dining room.

Tucked away to the west of the island is Bamboo Cathedral. See nature's designs in full regalia if you want to get a little active while enjoying the view try bamboo cathedral. Walk it or bike it, its up to you! It's some 30 mins away from Vallee Cachee.

Located right off Tucker Valley Road in Chaguaramas is Bamboo Cathedral. This is a popular spot for locals to wander as well as have professional pictures taken. It also happens to be one of the best places to see monkeys. On many occasions, I witnessed red howler monkeys and groups of capuchin monkeys playing in the trees. If you’re feeling active, continue up the trail to the tracker station at the top. An old US Army outpost where they would listen in to foreign communications during World War II. It is now just derelict buildings but interesting nonetheless.
