You have to go to Acropolis every time you visit Athens, because The Acropolis of the fifth century BC is the most accurate reflection of the splendour, power and wealth of Athens at its greatest peak, the golden age of Perikles.

Historic Site
“They are known as the columns of Olympian Zeus, but they relate to the remains of a majestic temple in honor of Zeus. The temple was the largest in ancient Greece and was completed after a long adventure by Andrianos. Of the 114 columns today 15 are saved. The space is clean with proper supervision and fills you with a positive aura. From many parts of the site one can see the Acropolis with the Parthenon and one view of the Andrian Gate. Prefer hours without strong sun.”
