Why locals recommend it

It’s like a scene out of Goodfellas in here. The room is luxuriously decked out in red velvet, and you’re going to get classic Italian food served by sassy waiters in red tuxedos. I can never get a reservation, but that’s probably because I wait until the last minute! Try calling about three weeks in advance. I love the rigatoni with vodka sauce that Carbone is known for. It’s a super simple dish, but it’s been around forever and is at its best here. The pasta is perfectly cooked—just the right amount of chewiness—and the vodka sauce is luxuriously tomato-y.

One of the best Italian food dinners I've ever had. If you're looking for a fancy place this will do the trick.
