About 1hr away but the xcountry classic and skate skiing trails are great as well as the hiking and outdoor ice skating trail

This is a bit further in Huntsville (about 45 minutes away) but there is cross country skiing, hiking and skating on trails. It is a pretty amazing place to visit.
