This is definitely one of the most beautiful places I've visited, designed with gardens to attract the butterflies, and a whole overview of the life cycle of the butterfly.

3.4 km from the beach house. A short bike ride, or a long lazy weekend walk. The Butterfly house is open on Sunday's and Wednesday's.

The Butterfly House is a magical destination for young and young at heart, it is a safe sanctuary for the butterflies. Learn the life cycle of the beautiful butterfly. Opening days Wednesday and Sunday only - 10am -4pm. Address 208 First Ave Bongaree. Venue is wheelchair friendly.

A great experience for all ages. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of butterflies and the serenity. You are able to go at your own pace with a helpful information sheet. Tip - wear white or yellow and the butterflies are most active on dry days.
