The Blue Room, also called the blue cave, is a truly unique place on Curacao. It is a beautiful blue lit cave that you can swim/snorkel in and where you can see a lot of fish. You only have to swim one meter underwater from the sea. The entrance is about 20 cm below the water level. So you don't have to swim deep under water. To really enjoy the cave, you must have a mask with a snorkel so that you can also look under the water. The nicest and safest (!), is via the water taxi of "Let's Go Watersport". The owner Captain Goodlife is a flamboyant person.

Up on till today there is not published 1 photo which does justice to how beautiful it is to see the Blue Room Cave. If you wanna have fun go with Captain Goodlife! If you want a bigger adventure on your own you can walk. If you go to the beach of Santa Cruz, park the car, and walk straight on. You'll see a little path on your left that leads up into the bush. Follow this path for about 5-10 min. and you end up on a little black beach. Follow the sign that says Boca Fluit. This takes you trough a dusty nature road, and after about a 20 min. walk, you'll see a tree with a blue dot. Then you follow the blue dots on the trees and then on the rocks. This leads you to the blue room. Watch out!! Its a hot walk so bring water, make sure to wear swim shoes because the rocks a very Sharp and dangerous on flip flops. This is not for childeren!!! If you carefully walk of the rocks into the water, follow the dots for the best spot to enter, you can see on your right the blue room. If its low tide, you dont have to dive, you have about 20 cm breathing space. Otherwise you have to swim about a meter under water. All in you'll have a beautiful adventure.

We love going here, it's a beautiful place, and you ca visit by boat with Captain Goodlife. It's a fun trip although you have to be an able swimmer to get in and out of the cave

Snorkel or dive this cavern. Afternoon is best for the sunlight reflection. By boat, Go West has trips.
