Amazing, quirky sculpture gardens and great tapas aka “slow food.”

Broomhill is a short drive from Ilfracombe. It offers an amazing tapas menu and full a la carte too, at very reasonable prices. If you don't want to eat there, it's worth a visit just to walk around the amazing grounds and see the sculptures and huge pond. Tickets to the gardens are included when you book a table to eat.

I haven't actually been here but have driven past lots and keep meaning to go. It looks very interesting but I get the feeling it's not really for small kids (it seems like a look at it but don't climb on it sort of place) so am waiting to have a more grown up, culturally inquisitive child (or to have some time on my own!). I've heard the food is great here too.

Broomhill Art Hotel is a place where art and culture meet in magical surroundings. Here you can view both the contemporary art gallery and sculpture exhibitions – where Broomhill is home to the largest private collection of sculptures in the South West.
