Fun to view from a car or during your walk down the Golden mile. Stop for doughnuts or visit one of Blackpool’s Piers or many arcades on route. Did you know, the Illuminations season will now start on Friday 2 September and run until Monday 2 January, 2023? For the second year running it has been extended right through to new year to accommodate the growing demand for uk holidays!

Usually on from August bank holiday until bonfire night. A visit to the illuminations is a must and if you fancy something to eat, there is plenty to choose from. Get on a tram to ride through the lights in style.

The trams rum from squires gate all the way up past cleveleys and its a great way to travel. ITs especially fun during the illuminations when many trams are lit up as trains or boats. The illuminations are fun but prepare to sit in a lot of traffic. One way to experience them is to book in to the very smart and retro ‘White Tower’ restaurant at the pleasure beach. Delicious food and great views.
