A little known gem in Manly. Not one of the 7 wonders of the World, but a nice oasis of nature in the middle of Manly. Watch the cricket on the oval and then wander through the botanical gardens beyond. There is also the Bowling Club which offers barefoot bowls and cheap food and drinks.

It's one place in Manly where you can read a book while sitting on the grass and not have a hundred people walk by. Sit in the sun or under a tree, it's entirely up to you! It's got a very tropical feel so use the bug spray in the bathroom before you go!
