Birkie trail system info is here, also a great place to see in the summer, the trails are beautiful for hiking and spectacular views. Lots of info about the American Birkebeiner and a small museum as well.

If you cross country ski, you've heard of the Birkie. It is one of Hayward's world-class events that draws visitors from around the world. (Pro tip: Word on the street is the Sawmill Saloon in Seeley is the place to be for an after-party.)
