Military surplus store. Lots of stuff from backpacks to boots/BDUs to kayaks and knives and hatchets. Fun to just browse and look around also.

Get your pea coat here. Military surplus and outdoor. A Portland institution. There are a number of big box nightmare-type stores closer to home, Andy & Bax is more fun.

If you love surplus stores, you will adore this place. Where else can you get a vintage NATO cap, a handbook on home made incendiaries, camo netting and trip-wire? Damn nice employees too!
