Guardia Perticara is a lovely village in the Lucanian hinterland. The house is the highest in the village: from the balconies you can enjoy the wonderful landscape, harsh and sweet, which characterizes the Val d'Agri. The accommodation is a 50 m2 house, on two floors with a separate entrance accessed via a stone staircase. No. 11 is located in the heart of the old town of Matera, the Sassi. The breathtaking view has been featured in several films, such as James Bond, the Passion of Christ and Ben-Hur. This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Bring your sneakers !
