There really is no reason to ever leave the resort like buildings, but if you do (and if you don't have a car) there is a resort shuttle bus to take you to the nearby Hongshulin Metro Station (or you can walk 10 mins) which will quickly take you to Danshui (Tamsui), a seaside fishing village which is Taipei's weekend playground (1 metro stop) or to downtown Taipei (about 20 minutes) or the nearby sites and night markets.You can enjoy your stay thoroughly..
