Nónsteinn is perfect place for newly weds, couples or friends.
“Cosy cottage with the must stunning view of Kirkjufell. You can enjoy the mountain in the morning, evening or even at night if you are visiting during summer. The cottage was very clean and is fully equipped. We cooked our own dinner two nights. Anna and Óli help with local recommendations and answer quickly during your stay. Just book!”
Brand new cozy studio apartments with private entrance Opening for the 2018 summer season, we offer these conveniently located private studios. Come and stay in the picturesque fishing village of Stykkishólmur, close to nature but within walking distance of all amenities as well as the old town centre. “The house is really cute. It really is tiny but offers everything you need. It is all new and clean. The bed is right under the roof, a really small place but you have a window right in front of the bed and have a beautiful view (also you could sleep downstairs on the sofa if you preferred). The house is located on a camping site. It is very quiet but also in walking distance to Town. A Bakery and Café, grocery store, swimming pool, petrol station, are all in walking distance. Eydis is a Great Host. She was super quick in communication, offered tips on what to do. We had a storm when we were at Stykkishólmur and all the roads were closed. Eydis was very friendly and helpful. She gave advise on the road situation and invited us to stay another night until the roads would have been re-opened. All in all a very nice place to stay and explore the area.”
Hofðabaer is newly renovated house in the heart of Stykkisholmur, Iceland (2 hours from Reykjavik). The house is 51 sq. meters and has one bedroom on ground floor for two persons and a upstairs bedroom for three persons. Very cozy and good atmosphere.
“This little house is one of the most special places you could choose to stay in Iceland. Aside from being very comfortable and having everything you need, to be in a 140 yr old house, in this gorgeous village, is an experience beyond just accommodation. We were lucky enough in early Jan to have a clear, fine day to explore Snaefellsnes, followed by a snow storm that had us inside, appreciating this cosy little space. Coming from one of the hottest parts of Australia, this was a winter fairytale! Anna was an exceptionally helpful host as well, with local recommendations and quick responses to our questions. Could not recommend more highly!”
