Chalet Heart³

The newly built wooden chalet was completed with a lot of love for detail in March 2024. It was built in a modern style and meets the highest energy requirements. The path from your own parking space, through the house, to the covered veranda with new, electrically heated hot tub was designed at ground level. Inside you can make yourself comfortable with the wood-burning stove and your own sauna (free of charge). The National Park cycling path and beautiful hiking trails are within walking distance.

Very close (35 min) to Salzburg city and Hallstatt (40 min), whole Salzkammergut like Sankt wolfgang/Wolfgangsee (30 min) or bad ischl (30 min) or mondsee (15 min). Our apartment is located in the beautiful village of Niederkappel, up in the heights of the Mühlviertel right behind the Danube Valley between Passau and Linz. Important information for bikers traveling on the Danube cycle path: From the Danube banks (Obermühl) it's a 3km steep, exhausting climb up to Niederkappel. If you are fit enough for that, you are very welcome to stay at our place. The views down onto the Danube will compensate for the efforts.

For riding enthusiasts, a wide variety of ponies and horses, suitable for beginners or demanding, are available. Relaxed atmosphere (the farm is also being renovated).
